I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

Experts please help.

I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I fainted in the shower when I was ~25. I fell back and hit my head on the faucet and was out cold for a couple minutes. Went to the ER and they did a ton of tests - all normal. Did follows and all came back normal. They never did figure out what caused the fainting. I’m 39 now and it hasn’t happened since.
This happened to me at 21. Every test came back normal and when they did one final test just to be sure (a sleep-deprived EEG), it came back slightly abnormal (but not in the definitely something range). I was on medication for a couple years as a precaution. When I moved and saw a new neurologist, he couldn’t find anything. We tapered me off meds, ran the sleep deprived EEG again (normal) and never had an issue since. They never figured out if it really was something, a fluke, or a remote possibility that my then-boyfriend (who was an EMT) had slipped me something since he knew I’d lose my license (we were on the rocks and he wasn’t happy about that). 25+ years later, I’m fine (and that ex is long gone).
Depending on your state laws, you may need a doctor to clear you with your state’s DMV (was the case in mine).
Hope this is a one-and-done for you VP.
Yes. My father had experienced something similar. It was called Transient Ischemic episode. It was about 21 years ago. We were having dinner at a restaurant abd he was still for a good minute or two. We took him to a hospital and all reports were normal. It was a temporary episode luckily. A prolonged episode would have been a stroke. Keep track of your health. Generally, cut down weight, start eating healthy, doctors generally prescribe aspirin (blood thinner), start a good exercise regimen (incorporate strength and cardio). You should try to do the above after you consult with your doctor and ensure it is in line with what s/he recommends.

I blacked out and fell at work once. I had stopped breathing and was resuscitated back to life. ECG was done but no reason was found. This was almost 10 years ago and I was 29. No issues since.
Did you get the jab?
Yes but over 6 months ago.
Happened to me too in the last year. Did all of the tests and turns out I have epilepsy, however I’m very fortunate that mine is very controllable (makes sense given I only had the 1 seizure).
Hopefully your tests indicate it’s nothing VP1, but if it is epilepsy I’m happy to chat. It was a hard pill to swallow at first for sure.
Thanks Deloitte and Associate, I appreciate that.
