Learn to delegate. Find super seniors you trust and lock them in on your projects.
Schedule time to complete tasks. Decline meetings I don’t need to attend. Start earlier when your team isn’t up and running yet to get things done.
I got more comfortable declining meetings or proposing new times so meetings would be back to back rather than that wasted 30 mins in between. I also block off time for time to work. I set my meeting default to 15 mins. Always have an agenda.
Back to back is so much better - you get it all over with in one go so you have focus time then. otherwise the day is all mixed up and it can be hard to get a solid chunk of time to get through your workload
Just do your best to stick to the schedule. Once you get behind it will be hard for you to keep up with the things written in your calendar.
I agree with M2. I was so hesitant about it at first. But I think everything became manageable after delegating some tasks.
I'd echo most of the comments here. Learn how and when to say no. This is will come out naturally if you've already set your priorities.
