Married folks- How are you guys having safe s*x? There's a urge to do it without any protection but how do you ensure that you/your SO is not getting pregnant. There's always a fear that something might happen because you're not ready for kids. What is your safest way?

Husband is a multi sport coach and gone a lot in season, I work in corp banking. Thinking about getting a travel trailer since I camp alone with the kids a lot in the summer, spring and fall for quick weekends. Does anybody do this where you take, maybe 1 day, to create multiple 3 day weekends scattered throughout the year for little trips instead of taking vaca in longer stints? Do you feel more refreshed with lots of smaller trips, or more with a few long trips? Kids are 1 & 3.
