how much % raise have you folks gotten from a promotion in a corporate accounting position? Not public accounting. Last time I got promoted it was a 10% raise and wondering if thats an acceptable increase

Shopping for a loan. Some lenders have given me a 3 page “loan estimate” document. Others (smaller lenders) have only provided an itemized worksheet (which includes all the same details). They say they’ll need all of my paperwork (W-2, purchase agreement, salary slips, financial position etc.) to get me the loan estimate. Is this normal? If I complete my application, get the loan estimate and lock my rate, can I still back out without any issues? Please help with your advice.

Had my final round of interviews for a Sr C role with Deloitte a week ago. Went well all virtual. Recruiter said she will let me very soon after getting feedback. Anyone recently went through the same experience? How soon did you hear back? Did you get an email first or call from recruiter?

Landed a contract role at Deloitte via MBO Partners for an audit senior role. MBO is making me a W-2 employee for MBO, but I am getting paid $125/hour plus overtime. Am I missing something here or am I about to be making $5K/week (or more with OT)? Anyone have any experience with MBO or doing contract work like this? Obviously way more than I'd make if I stayed at KPMG for busy season.

I am thinking about reneging on a job offer that I have already signed. I started to experience buyer remorse syndrome after accepting this job offer. Since I had a couple of other interviews scheduled, I continued with these additional interviews. At this point, I may get another offer from one of these companies. Has anybody here had or seen people around you renege on job offers? What are the consequences for reneging on job offer?
