I’m in interviews with a few companies. It was initially to see what was out there to negotiate my pay. Now, I’m seriously considering leaving my current company because of what one of the prospect companies represent: everything I want in a company/role. (Plus they reached out to me) AND they will pay me almost double what I’m currently making annually, put me in a position to advance (so many options!!!!!) and allow me to move/travel when I get ready to.

What should I do? Guidance please!!!

I have applied for the position of a consultant at Accenture and am currently ongoing the interview process.
I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.

Skill 2: Semi Technical + Managerial

I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it? (I ran out of characters)

I’m in the process of interviewing for an associate position at biglaw. They sent me a form asking what my class year is with regards to my current position. My current position is at a law firm, but I’m a staff attorney and not an associate and I’ve never been classified by class year. Any idea what to fill in here?

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. I am trying to do my best even with very little direction and this supervisor constantly harassing my about things like her not being able to use google meet or to remember passwords. I was made aware that I could work for consulting companies under a personal LLC and increase the pay received. My understanding is this is because I would have to pay my own insurance, benefits etc. Can anyone provide any additional details or literature on this?

I’ve been getting contacted by PE/VC recruiters lately but I don’t think I’m ready to leave consulting yet. I’d like to do another year before I pivot but don’t want to burn any bridges. Is there a way to communicate this to recruiters and have an opportunity in the future or am I chalked?

My Accenture recruiter told me that in order to revise my current offer she would need to reject my current offer first and no need to worry on that part. Is this normal? Please provide genuine feedback.

Finished my MBA and got into consulting but finding it difficult in being good at my job. I joined a client mid project and the deliverables at times are so vague. I have no consulting experience ( came from an audit background) but as a sr. Consultant the expectations from my role are high. How can I get better at problem solving, story telling and just consolidating influx of information into concise format. Having some major imposter syndrome!

Remember most customer reps do want to help you. In some cases they just need to go through RED TAPE. 🙂

Would love to get your input on this but how do you guys feel about consulting, especially with a STEM background? I have worked on studies where we make recommendations that anybody with a basic scientific/engineering knowledge will say “yea, no f-ing sh*t. We want to do that too. But it’s impossible to achieve from technical perspective with the money we have. You don’t think we already thought of that?”

If you work for a large strategy firm and a client approves a much larger budget than you think was needed for the project is it okay to just accept the overage ? We will find a way to use it, but weirdly feel guilty. Is it ever good to go back to the client and say that you want less than they approved? Lol…..
