There is no recruiter in between and I dropped a mail to the hiring manager (director) asking her about the result. She gave positive feedback and said that she will respond after the Thanksgiving week. The entire week has passed and it's Tuesday of another week. No response yet. Is this common? I am losing hope. I faced issue multiple times, when all the interview rounds were clear and HR offering too less than the expected salary even though all the discussion happened before scheduling the interview.

They asked to upload all the documents on the portal and at the end of whole process they are not going to provide near about expected CTC.

I don't understand this type of behaviour. Is there any way to mitigate this type of issue?

This past year I’ve been feeling especially burnt out. Briefs are taking longer to click and it’s a struggle to come up with creative ideas. Even when I come back from a few days off, I find myself unable to focus on even the smallest project. I’ve thought about switching agencies or go in-house in hopes that new clients will get me excited and eager to work, but worried I’ll find myself in the same boat.
