I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?

Op, in my experience college consulting recruits are sharper and face a higher criteria of selection. Like it or not, people tend to judge undergrads disproportionately to graduate school unless that graduate school is HBS. Undergrad admissions and performance is tightly controlled much more tightly than an m7 school. Finally, hardcore finance jobs favor younger people bc of the sheer burn of these positions - easier to get a quick 24 year old and train them than a 32 year old who may have a family to go home to.
Pretty rare to leave to PE dealside as post-MBA consultant.
Ops is possible but obviously very different value prop (and usually also not largest top-funds)
Bain1, I really really fail to understand why these funds see a 22-23 1 year in Analyst/Associate as more valuable than a post-MBA mbb senior associate. Why do funds hire pre-MBA kids with barely any experience but exclude people with 5-7 years of experience with a MBA from a top school?
Can anyone go into more detail on the exit ops to the operations team side? That's my ideal exit
Experience doesn't matter for junior level PE roles. You just need the smartest kids who will run through a brick wall to get shit done.
OP - the issue is that post-MBAs are too expensive given how much training and support they'd need to get up to speed. There are more than enough people with Pre-MBA experience to fill all VP+ roles that can perform well from day 1
