Any recommendations for industries and roles where you are required to travel for periods of time across USA or internationally? For example, I worked at a trade show company (before CoVID event industry layoffs) and loved the balance of office & show travel. I have a bachelors in marketing but have mostly field sales/sponsorship/event coordination experience as well as wine/spirits industry experience (3yrs). My partner is an Occupational Therapist and she was laid off in March when NYC closed schools and therefore her clinic. Initially she claimed unemployment but they moved to tele-therapy so she’s been earning an hourly rate. However she’s struggling as they are consistently not been paying her the correct amount and with no explanation. She had an employment contract to end of Aug with a 3 month notice period that they did not give to her. Could she possibly force them to pay out her contract?
