crying ceo killed everyone today on LinkedIn 🤣🤣🤣

Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone to take over my 2Bed/2Bath lease in 420 E Ohio (Streeterville) starting in November (flexible). The apartment, the building amenities and neighborhood are truly AWESOME, but I got a new job outside of IL and will be relocating. Message me if interested!

I did it for a business unit of ~350 people for a mid level exec. Then moved up to an entire division of ~2,000 for a very senior exec. You're the right hand man/woman that does everything the admin doesn't. You see everything, you're the eyes and ears for the exec, you basically run the show. Sometimes was referred to as COO of the unit instead of CoS, my official title was business manager, but in my last role I was SVP and it was fairly senior. I loved it.
A friend left Bain 8 years ago (2y post MBA) took a CoS role at a privately held company, and is now CFO of that company, making $2-3m / year. Its a great springbord.
My wife made the same move, and now serves as the chief of staff for the CEO of an NGO, and she says the same thing you do, OP.
Got to a final round interview for a CoS role but didn't get it :(
Chief of staff, hand of the king. How viable are these options as career?
DC1. Director of Special Projects is sometimes a synonym for this position.
^i guess new kings take new hands
I got a few conversations a few years back about a position in a bank. The salary was laughable - under what new associates earn first year
SA1, agree. Some roles are quite junior (2/3 years out of Consulting) and others a bit more senior, fully General Kelly level. My role sits probably somewhere in between.
How is the pay, op?
How many years of consulting experience OP?
Op- are you MBB? What was your alignment in consulting?
What's the career advancement from there?
I was an Associate equivalent
Do you report to the CEO?
It depends. It can either be an assistant type junior role, or it can be General Kelly for the suite.
How much does it pay?
OP, you got a 60% jump in base? What did you level did you leave from?
have been told by my manager that this only a role he wants me to do for 2/3 years, and use it as a stepping stone onto something else, whichever part of the business that may be (investments/sales/ops). Personally, if things go well, I would probably try and see how this could lead to a COO type of role, wherever that may be
Agreed. I did the same move. Then got bored in industry after a few years.
K how much do you make now? I am making 123 at 35.
