My 2.5YO refuses to play or do anything independently and needs me for everything. Building blocks - prefers I build and he watches, puzzles - prefers to watch me do it, at the park - needs me around every second, playing with cousins - needs me in eye distance. I am concerned at lack of independence or desire to do anything solo. Any tips or similar experiences?

My fiancé will NOT stop talking about her ex. After I found out they were texting arguing she justified it by saying it was about the dogs and not them.
