My clinical coordinator just asked me to change my schedule to accommodate a new hire's vacation that was pre-approved before they even started. I haven't had a major summer holiday off in three years, and now I'm being told my requested time off is being rescinded to make the new person feel welcome. Would you refuse the schedule change, or just take the hit to keep the peace?

I would say “unfortunately I am not available to work on these days.” That is management’s problem, not yours.

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. I have been told my work product is good, I don't turn anything down, I participate in non-billable work, I'm responsive and I always let people know I'm available to help. Do I need to be worried about getting fired for low hours?

What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.

Hey friends! I hope everybody has had a productive week and had an awesome weekend for those who enjoyed their holiday! This question is specifically for Amazon Web Services in sales.

So I am currently a potential candidate as an AAE. I was told that I would in the future have to prepare a mock deck and deal with objections.

Has anybody had to prepare them and what was the scenario?

Thanks everyone!
