My husband was vaccinated in another country several months ago, and then recently got a different vaccine here in the US (both doses). He told his company he was fully vaxxed at the time of the previous vaccine, and now they are requiring proof of vaccine for all employees. If he submits the new US vaccine card, will they see that the date is more recent than he previously told them he was vaxxed, and could face repercussions? He doesn’t have the first card nor can find a way to access it.

I doubt anyone will put the two together, nor will they care if they do since he is now clearly fully vaccinated via the US process. I wouldn’t sweat it at all. I’m sure exactly what you told us will work if someone questions it.

Get ready to go through a bunch of legal trouble with HR and be unsure about your employment situation for a while. Regardless of your thoughts on the efficacy of these mandates they are going to catch a lot of corner cases in their wake and drag a lot of personal, medical, and religious information out into the light that probably shouldn’t be.

I’ve spoken with high ups in Deloitte and they’ve relayed me to talent. I have medical complications that put me at risk for side effects from the vaccines but will likely not qualify as medical contraindications.

Basically I have to explain all my medical baggage to people in my workplace in an attempt to beg them not to fire me or relocate me off projects, staying completely socially isolated in the meantime, and somehow that’s supposed to be inclusive and healthy for the company.

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢

Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?

Had an FET transfer and just got the news that the pregnancy test is negative. Feeling very defeated about it. All my labs are good (AMH 3.1) and the embryos were PGA tested. Have only two left now, and this was the best quality one. The irony is I did feel pregnant couple days after transfer but then I stopped feeling pregnant. I read that some women don’t really “feel” pregnant until 6-7 weeks… but i did “feel” then stopped. It just sucks. If you have any advice for coping, I’d appreciate it.

How To Be Productive when Your Job Is Boring

I’m losing my damn mind at my job. I’m 23 years old and I’m a very ambitious, hard working individual but my job is literally so boring, I feel that all of my habits and skills are slowly deteriorating. I mean I do nothing all day, most days.
