Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Any time, go in late May when it warms up a bit but not yet super touristy. Things are not as shuttered or dire as the news would lead you to believe. The city is open and hotel vacancies are high, you can get nightly rates under $100 in prime Manhattan locations. I’d expect this to change starting in June+ as the entire US becomes vaccinated and international borders open.
The restaurants are packed to the brim these days.
My guess is mid-late Summer or early Fall. Stuff is opening up but the city is scarred from early outbreaks and isn’t likely to want to rush the opening. That said, when people can be outside, you have loads of options. Early fall might have fewer tourists?
I’d go for September if you can wait that long. Things should be pretty open (right now it’s “kind of” open), and the weather should still be warm enough to be outside.

Wait for Broadway to fully reopen at least, probably September will be good
The fall is the best time of year in my opinion
