Need advice from seasoned account folks on my next account move. Net net, I have been working on a client (let’s call it client A) and feel so great about the work, the clients, my director and the industry. I finally found the account for me. Now, unfortunately client A is moving their business to another agency within our existing holding company due to politics. I can move with them or stay at current agency. I am actively working for a promotion later this year. What would you recommend?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Does anyone have experience working for a ALSP? How does compensation work (pay and benefits)? Are you an employee or technically an IC? Do you have billable requirements like at a firm? How do you think it prepared you to potentially move in house? I'm currently at a firm but thinking of taking a position with an ALSP but my goal is to go in house.
