Need some advice. I started prepping around Dec for interviews networked hard. Secured bcg, OW and lek interview. Covid happened, BCG pushed back. Round 2 with ow and lek pushed. I’m currently employed at KPMG. Do I just wait it out or continue networking and looking for opportunities? I’m open to global roles, I am in Canada now. Just heartbreaking and I know I’m not alone.. rotten timing. :(

Is there point in applying to roles without referral? I’ve a strong background but hearing nothing on applications and don’t want to waste a shot by direct application into the void and having to wait to reapply

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I’m very interested in the opportunity but also don’t want to make a poor financial decision early in my career. Thank you for your time!
