Recruitment process here is trash. I too had a sh*tty interview and negotiation process. There were a bunch of red flags but I wanted to get in the door, at the mothership, etc. Should’ve run, but didn’t. Trust me the recruitment process reflects the inside. Do yourself a favor and tell them you’ve decided to hold off.
Salesforce is a dumpster fire right now, run.
They were probably let go without a notice. I wouldn’t say it is a bad thing. You don’t want to be at SF right now.
Highly likely that your recruiter was laid off. Many of Salesforce’s recruiters have been in the past few weeks.
No, my first one was laid off but this one is still working

The only thing you can really do is decline to interview due to the way they're treating you. Eventually, this lack of professionalism will catch up with the recruiter in lost opportunities and clients.

Honestly, they may not even know if the role is still valid at this point and are being told to stall prior to a freeze.
Roles are also available/not available/available again. I spoke to a SF recruiter recently who said all 2023 fiscal roles have just been approved so what was posted previously may have been leaders trying to get requisitions posted a bit earlier than they necessarily should have….who knows for sure.
Very on brand for salesforce tbh
