Not sure if this is the right bowl, but I have wanted to get into the Publishing industry for a while now. I love books, especially fantasy, and want to help edit, sell, or just be involved in the written word some how. I have 25 years of experience in tech sales/account management and a degree in English Lit, but I'm not even sure where to start. I've submitted applications to a variety of publishers but never hear back. I assume I just get lost in the shuffle. Any advice?

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers.
