Make consulting great again
Any book recommendations?
Hi there, got an interview with for a BA in consulting (insurance technology) but I’m kind of skeptical. I’m coming from another integrator consulting company. 1) What is the culture like in EY? Are you “agile”. 2) Would working in a specific service line in insurance meant it’s hard to exit?
3) Does EY still use utilisation for consulting? 4) Can I work on international projects? Any nice perks and benefits? Thank you!

ORD>>>>>>>MDW
I think ORD gets a bad rep for no reason. More food options, less clueless southwest passengers getting in the way, lounges, and precheck security is pretty efficient
M2 has never been to ORD during some sort of weather or operational disruption. It is the definition of 3rd world.
C. Hell
You will spend an eternity from ORD to downtown ( 30 minutes from landing to gate; 60 minutes minimum to downtown)
Seat assignment & Upgrades vs Shorter commute
If my airline flew into MDW I would 100% go there.
MDW unless you live near a blue line stop.
If Delta has flights to both, compare time to destination (blue vs orange line) and plane type.
M1, wrong. But I've had equally horrible snow delays at MDW as well. So might as well be delayed at an airport with more restaurant/bar options
MDW via the Orange line to downtown is about 15-20 faster. Couple of scary stops along the way. MDW has fewer alternative options if your flight delays outbound. Inbound to MDW, all the airlines consider MDW and ORD as "coterminal", meaning you can generally move from one airport to the other for no fare difference if there is a mechanical, crew or weather delay.
MDW is faster to the loop after you walk yourself for six miles to the cta station and don't get mugged in the shady areas that are your first several stops. No offense but ORD to me is for biz travel, mdw is for vacationing families flying southwest. (I know I'm elitist about my air travel choices and yes I've flown many flights from both).
To clarify, I'm flying into Chicago for work (Delta), but I've heard really conflicting reports. I am going into downtown so I'd be taking public transit either way
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the input! I'm going to try flying into MDW and out via ORD for the lounge and see how it goes.
Good plan
