Please recommend a fully online ABA-approved paralegal program. I already have a bachelor's and master's but when looking for work the attorneys don't seem to trust my 10 years experience over the piece of paper. If I have to buy another expensive piece of paper I want the best education and the most prestigious school (to satisfy their ego, not mine).

A program with a healthy alumni network would also be amazing. TIA

Amanda - I was a junior associate at a biglaw firm and subsequently a partner at five biglaw firms. I can tell you that in paralegals we always (and only) looked for experience. The specific academic credentials for paralegal work never figured into the equation.

Find out who hires paralegals at the AmLaw 100 firms and send resumes and SHORT cover letters to all of them. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get a bunch of interviews and at least a few offers.

In all honesty, I'm going to hire a paralegal with experience and good references over one with a certificate of ANY type every time. Really focus on networking.

Based on a quick Google search, it looks like there's only 4 fully online programs. None of them are at major universities.

I’m not sure there are any ABA programs fully online because the bar hasn’t approved it yet. Unless something changed recently.

Not true.

Same happened for my friend today. He also got selected and they collected all the acedemic , previous company documents salary slips and they rejected him saying same.

They could have told the same when they ask for salary expectations. I feel something fishy.
