Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Depends on your goals. I have my PMP and it has absolutely helped me with strategy, planning, looking at the bigger picture, however the certification is more specific for a project management role. The certificate by itself is not a plan to executive management. An MBA is much more so. PMP 3-6 months. MBA 1-3 years. Specific vs large scope.
Thanks.
Why not both ?
Interesting.
These two are not comparable. You pay more for an MBA and it pays back more as well
Plus the network you gain. Friends, future colleagues, contacts for career pivots or switching jobs in general. The content is great, but the network is unmatched. You also need to put in the effort to build and maintain it, but pays off personally and professionally
PMP is more if you want to go the project management route. MBA opens more broad options. MBA costs more too.
What is the goal you’d like to accomplish with either?
