Based on full-time MBA offers that I’ve seen for Accenture and other firms, this is normal
The firm usually does let you know, however, when they usually have their new hires start (i.e. have cohorts join in July, August, September, etc)
You can usually select your preference for how early you want to start (within the firm’s usual new joiner onboarding period)
Thanks! That’s reassuring. I was just paranoid that the lack of pre-determined date indicates risk of delaying if the bench gets too deep.
In my experience, and at my firm, we always agree on date when sending out offer letters.
My wife was in campus recruiting for ACN this sounds very par for the course. They first accept candidates then have internal process where they determine where the candidates get placed role/location/comp. I assume it’s the same for MBA grads.
Normal for all Accenture offers, work with the recruiter/onboarding POC to firm up his start date
Thanks! I didn’t go through the MBA recruiting route so I didn’t know that’s the norm.
