They take being kind to others seriously. If you’re rude, you will get escalated. The benefits are amazing. I have 0 deductible health insurance. I like my team but definitely areas to improve like how to write user stories and acceptance criteria is cringeworthy on my project. But so many perks. I love it.
Sure
It gets busy, a lot of competing priorities. I would say it depends on your team and manager as they play a big role on keeping work balance. We have nice benefits as far as sick time goes and half Fridays off. A lot of learning and growth opportunities again this is based on my personal experience, Some people got fired or just quit for better opportunities.
Fannie Mae is not for the faint hearted 🤪.
Appreciate the info. Shot you a DM if you get a chance!
I believe it’s a hit or miss. I worked under 2 managers and they were amazing however heard some very sad stories where an employee was not treated fair and an expressed opinion within a team was always criticized. Every single interaction with the manager was discouraging even though the work was well done.
I had 2 managers and they are amazing, encouraging in trying out new things, never been judged or criticized. However, some other managers are on a power trip! Every single interaction would be exhausting and negative even when the job was done right! Feels always targeted! Unprofessional behavior is at its finest! Manager would states things that would make one feel that the whole team is against an employee. Thank God I never had to experience it! Nevertheless managers like that do exist in Fannie Mae and get promoted as well.
