Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft
AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

Totally agree 😁

Hi Everybody,
I'm currently working as an outsource in Rapid Metro as Technical Assistant/Civil. I earned a Master degree in Water Resource Engineer after B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

The role I'm in is client facing with short engagements. Some work is travel, other is not. A travel client would have been 4 days a week every week pre-pandemic. Now it'll be 2-4 days a week every other week. I go to the office occasionally - it is not mandatory. There are team members who are fully remote that don't come in because they live in weird places now, but there are still things where they may have to travel - but generally at their discretion on that front as well. Community exists and I've done a few off-sites that were fun.
Point being, Nigel isn't making us come back in 2022 or 2023. Clients may - but they don't expect our office on that front.
Quick followup... MC has a pretty excellent curriculum and you will be traveling for portions. Like your airport, have a frequent flyer plan in mind. The office is an afterthought.
S&C is a slightly different animal than other parts of PS. We were built to be fully remote, even before covid. I’ve also worked abroad for a month whilst visiting family. Work the timezone of your client, get stuff done, nobody cares.
PS fishes, how do you like the firm and the work? What’s your opinion of the growth prospect
@OP, just a keep in mind that what @PS2 is speaking to the MC practice specifically. There is so much more to PS than just the small (but growing) MC practice.
Strongest verticals are FS, Retail, CPG, Auto. Energy is up there as well, has grown a lot in the past 3 years as well.
Health/Pharma is a newer vertical that is growing from an MC standpoint, but it hasn't grown above the board that much just yet.
If you’re interested, dm me and I get get a resume to the MC hiring team.
