Give yourself some grace. Your mom was a housewife. You’re not. You are a working parent. Work requires your full attention as do kids - it’s not possible to do both (well) at the same time. It’s so tough juggling parenting with work. I totally feel this, and I’m lucky enough to have a flexible 40ish hour job.

Yes, mine are still little and their holiday break from school is long - about three weeks. I always feel like I am failing at everything during these breaks as my time and attention are so divided. I suggested a winter break camp for a week to their dad this year, and he didn’t go for it, so I know it’s going to a rough go. I just hope that work is quiet.
Yep. Kids come home soon and I'm just trying to enjoy the last few days before my WFH peace is absolutely obliterated. We have family flying in to so it'll be nice and full at my house.
