PwC has a much larger tax practice and largest F500 audit so the tax clients are better too. Technology imo is better using track vs w workpapers and DMS vs Orion.
International is a specialty group so comp I would assume is about $10k more, however BTS core tax if you like heavy compliance work has a lot of variety.
Your opinion is appreciated. Also - “less audit deficiency” is hilarious 😂
Pwc - do not go to kpmg hell
Go to kpmg international tax.

In general, seems like intentional folks get paid the most. At least that is true at EY. I’m in EY BTS.
PWC international tax seems like a better option. I believe Pwc has a few subgroups within ITS…which group did you get the offer from?
Currently in PWC ITS coming from KPMG BTS group. BTS is heavy compliance based. In PWC ITS it's very consulting based. It depends on what you prefer. So far I enjoyed PWC more but my team from KPMG was great and friendlier.
SJ is also VHCOL btw
What is BTS?
Don't know exact detail but it's Corporate Tax
As IRS1 said , we have two groups in ITS: QS which focuses on international compliance and also modeling, consulting group has a mix of consulting and some compliance.
If you like compliance, stick with the BTS offer.
For the QS group within tax consulting group, was wondering whether that group primarily handles modeling and transaction support Calc instead of heavy compliance?
