Question for this network…has Pharma advertising ever been a truly rewarding, stable, and/or agency expertise driven/respected career path? Or, has it just gotten progressively worse over the last 10-15 years with the broken network economic models and increasingly unreasonable client expectations?

Looking to pivot out of a top pharma marketing/ad agency and into consulting. Ultimately want to leverage both experiences to move client side or to a healthcare start up.

Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.
