Quick question, YE conversations are in the 3rd week of July for me, 85% is the utilization target and I'll be at or just above 84% by the time the conversations happen. Do you think it'll be held

If you guys are anything like us, they cap that metric several weeks in advance

like

Against me, or is it Ok. Also, my engagement manager is asking me to take PTO causing the drop below 85, as there's a small lag between the phases

I'm not sure when they pull those metrics, as I've been staffed all year and the PTO thing is causing a bit of a drop

That's close enough that it shouldn't really matter. Why not ask the EM to shift hours forward if you're worried? Worst they'll say is no.

We've been talking about, they say they've got my back, but don't know how the round table will see it

We look at a resource's entire performance. Util is just one component. Looks like you will be just fine. Good luck!

To the earlier comment, you metrics have to have a date range. What is your performance year? If discussions are 3rd week of July, they probably look at your utilization July-June.

I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
