Received an offer from Deloitte as a TC2 in Business Tax Services. I'm coming from a small firm of 70 people and already accepted an offer at an even smaller company of 30 people before deloitte even reached out to me. But I still took the interview just because. Now I'm torn. I'm getting the same base pay but deloitte is giving 10k sign on bonus. Regardless. The pay isn't really much of an issue. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.
