Researched this & IRS site confused me 😫. Can someone clarify: if a wife doesn’t work, husband has access to 401k, she is disqualified from a deductible spouse IRA above $200k income right?

It doesn't reduce the benefit, just makes the conversion a little pricier from tax liability.

I think the can do spousal IRA and deduct

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?

I have a friend trying to talk me in to an IUL instead of a 529 for my kids. (My kids have 529s and that’s what I intend on staying with.) Am I missing something? Can someone dumb it down for me why IUL is a bad idea (if it is, in fact, a bad idea). Is there any reason to have both? Her main reason is that 529 counts as income and IUL doesn’t and can also serve as a retirement plan. Help, wise ones!
