Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.

Just doing this for information to anyone who was worried like I was. Pay out up to the day you worked and pto immediately. 2 weeks severance comes on next pay period. Health benefits end at month end (sucks that there are 3 days left in June). All 5s are gone, most 4s are gone with a few exceptions. I was promoted last year to Senior, but left a major project with some burned bridges after begging to leave 8 months of travel every week and PMO slide updates. My thought is that if I stayed it would be different, but I'm glad I left because otherwise life would've been more miserable than it somehow is now. Good luck to everyone on this train. I never regretted my time with this firm, it is truly a great experience despite the way it had to end.
Great attitude OP. I'm sure you will land on your feet better than where you started. Best wishes.
Were your unvested 401k and wealth builder balances accelerated to 100% vesting? They should be
60%
For every day that $$ is not in your pocket they should be paying you
So shady
So sorry, OP :( keep your head high and know that all happens for a reason
Yes, it was a mix of things. My burned bridge project definitely impacted my ability to get staffed on the *few* engagements my group did win. I can't say that my performance was stellar because there wasn't anything to properly work on, but of course there is a chance I could've somehow been more impactful - all of my snapshots, which covered >80% of my hours, were at or partially at next level (except for the aforementioned project). Perhaps I'm putting a lot of weight on my promotion last year, which to me signaled that my performance wasn't the main driver.
Did you just have CRT today? My RP still hasn't scheduled mine
Where will you be looking? Industry? Another firm? All the best.
My PTO and pay up to today is deposited in the ADP card the firm gave me (though it has not yet been activated, as HR let me know it might take a day to do).
Define "low" utilization.
I don't think utilization is the main driver of these layoffs. Would put more emphasis on annual performance rating and impact to firm. It's a down year, people across the board have low utilizations
