Second year associate here. Wondering if I should make a transition to PE. I hear it’s a better work/life balance. Thoughts?

Those with a part-time MBA was it worth it for you? Did it help to have as a “backup” ? Any regrets from those who went through the part time route?

For startup founders/people with a successful side project: How did you get the idea/inspiration for your business? I’m currently working at a Series B startup and my end goal has always been to found my own startup, but I graduated from college 2.5 years ago and I still have not had any great ideas cross my mind. I do spend a fair amount of time brainstorming. I don’t want to continue working here forever, but I’m struggling to generate that “this is it” idea to build a company for. Any advice?

My manager basically gave me an unlimited budget to get whatever certifications I want. My career profile is similar to a Solution Architect- what should I get? I am thinking about Okta (I do some SAML work), Domo, ITIL, Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Six Sigma, anything else? I have AWS Cloud Practitioner already. I am hoping to pivot to Product Management or Data Science.

After some research i decided to get into Cloud Computing. I've done Microsoft Azure course and cleared AZ 104 Certification for Azure Administrator.
But because of my Sales Experience my profile is not getting shortlisted.

What would be the best method to transition from a financial advisory role to a more financial analyst focused position? Is this type of move unheard of/too difficult to do?

Media is by far my biggest weakness. Planning a transition over to client side in the next 1-2 years. What are the best resources (other than incessantly bothering my over taxed media team) to gain lower mid-tier knowledge. Looking for advice: I have an analyst (9 months on the job) who still doesn’t get it - repeatedly misses comments, doesn’t follow instructions, slow, etc. I have raised this to both my MDs and they seem to be adopting a “not my problem” approach when I mention it. I had advised against hiring this analyst post internship and my MD insisted that all the issues I highlighted were fixable. I have tried teaching him to no avail and frustration with him is growing.
