There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. My current TC is 95k. Is it worth making the jump if the offer is north of 110k? Anything I should look out for? The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

I am so lost and don’t have the guidance I had signed up for. Is it bad to ask for an internal transfer to one of the brands instead?

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.
