Smallest of the B4, globally they're the only one not HQed in London, some of their verticals aren't as mature as those of the other B4, in some areas pay isn't as competitive as other B4s.
That's pretty much it. Nothing at all wrong with KPMG, most of the joking is good natured.

Nothing sets them apart. KPMG is no different than the other big 4. It’s just a joke and no one cares beyond a few on this platform. These constant posts and comments about it are a bit tiresome…

On the freal, there are few if any firms that don't get some kind of mockery or disdain here.

Ah, you still haven’t answered the question on why EY revenues are low….you don’t think EY does IT audit?
Audit / tax is exactly the same. It's on the consulting side where they are lacking. The other big 4 have EYP, S&, and MD that give them legit consulting presence.
Kpmg recruits from no name non targets. I was only harvard undergrad and people would always make jokes about why I was there

The difference is as follows:
Anyone who makes fun of KPMG either worked there before or turned down an offer to work at another big 4.
Same with all other big 4 firms and even the smaller consulting firms too. It’s just good fun for us overworked plebes.
