Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

Track the revenue growth and guidance given by top IT companies like TCS, Infy, Wipro. As long as they are growing in double digit you will be fine. There will be always strong project pipeline maintained by them. You might get some time to adjust (switch) if you follow management commentary. My 2cents opinion is Since everything is going digital these days it would require lot of high-skill efforts. So at least your career would be sailed through these winds.
which service based company is giving you lucrative salaries ?
I will suggest you to switch on a decent hike not as per trend to be more future Sustainable
You are thinking in a right way
If you have offer from Product based company go for that
Actually most of the old product based companies are still into old tech, even my current company. I actually wanted to work on new technologies. And service based are the best to get hands on. That is why I am concerned what to do, I do have product based company offer.
Pro
As long as you upskill yourself in current trends and technologies there’s nothing to fear

The architects salary has increased as well they’ve gone 50+
Even if you’re earning low if the project ends and you’re not able to get into new project you’ll be let go
So from my perspective it’s better to earn high salary, be on toes to upskill and move forward
