I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

What did I say that made you laugh out loud?
Unfortunately consensus I've seen on here is that the certs don't do all together too much. I would say no, but like E1 says, you might be able to negotiate maybe a few more percentage points in your next raise?
I think use it to leverage more your next bump when you are up for one or when you get a raise.
Unless your company offers an incentive plan, no they won't give it until your next review, if then. The only time I've had it where getting a new certification or degree is taken into account in when I change jobs.
I would say you'd need to show what value you are adding; certs are just about showing you're engaged in your profession, which means you're deserved of the highest bump you're eligible for, but don't be surprised if you get any additional request for a comp bump turned down. Says you're an engineer, so perhaps taking on additional roles in the Scrum apparatus or helping with road mapping can be the next move to bump up your comp above your standard increase
Agree with the others here, a PMP may not get you promoted, but it will give you leverage for more money. After being successful in the projects you are assigned, apply for a level up PM or get into Program Management. Being a PM has many level including Portfolio management and PMO.
