With you dude. Been WFH since August. My experience is if I stick to a regiment of getting up early - no different than if I had to go to the client - work out immediately and then leave my my apt to work at an office, library, or coffee shop, I do much better with eating, being productive, and working out. If I misstep even a little, boom: Couch, sweats, Netflix, Pizza delivered.
I haven't done it yet but am in the process of signing up for the Rover app. It's like an uber for dog walkers. Unlikely any of us need the money but it's a way to get the dog walk in without having the dog.
Yell at yourself in the mirror.
So all you do is watch Netflix all day? Wow I need a WFH project ASAP!
Try fitting into your old clothed
Exercise and stop eating unhealthy... pretty simple
Try to get a new gf
^personally I disagree. So many time zones no one ever leaves me alone.
Seriously spend a day in real clothes (tight work clothes). Feel that uncomfortableness. When I studied for four months straight and wore sweats, or wore scrubs, or worked from home and wore sweats I was fucked. As soon as I wore jeans and real clothes I realized wtf I was doing to myself. Also, chew gum and lots of water or eat 0 calorie snacks like pickles or ice and shit.
You know what to do. Just cut the excuses.
You also watching the office?
Call yourself a fat piece of shit every day. Thank me later
I'm the opposite. I gain weight when traveling because I pack as light as possible which means no workout gear. Plus I snack at the client office all day and eat out vs cook healthy meals.
Huron- yeah I hate going elsewhere to work, but my office is literally across from the kitchen where all the snacks are. I'll try that and see.
Work from the local office.
Been home the past two weeks and have eaten so much healthier. How long have you been at home?
I actually work out one more day per week when I'm not traveling because I don't skip out on Thursday night. But I find myself less happy. My girlfriend is a teacher so she rarely has time to hang out during the week. Not traveling sucks
Get a Fitbit and make yourself meet some basic movement goals.
15 min of cardio a day keeps the Consulting gut away, avoid desserts during the week too
Love working out at lunch too, so easy when wfh
