What will be the inhand salary at tcs on 10 lpa
What is a good salary for a director in NY?
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

It costs the blood of 5 virgins
You have to give up your life. It's kind of like a contract with the devil that sounds good up front and then you just pretend it's good later.
Deloitte - I think it's a half a million buy-in in the form of units which the firm loans you kind of get at super low interest
$10k - $2M source: common sense seems like a good 90% range
It's mostly irrelevant as you can borrow to finance the purchase of shares. It's a mostly a tax play as the interest is deductible as a business expense. More partner shares = more leveraged investment = more income. The higher you rise up the partner ranks the more shares you acquire
These are not answers. Seriously want to know, not trying to out anyone. Ranges fine.
Heard it's a $500k buy in minimum, but like folks say above you pick shares in relative BUs and then obviously have an incentive to generate business/returns
I'd thought at PwC it's $1m buy in that you pay in annual $200k increments.
500K for D, less is you opt for Director over Partner, but your return percentage is lower at Director
D1 isn't Director at Deloitte non-equity like MD at PwC or KPMG? I'd expect there to be no buy in for those levels.
SC2 - you are right. Directors are salaried and have no stake in the firm. Hence no buy in.
