When there is FUD you buy
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone here ever been to RCA? Is it worth it ?
Hi fishes, Dm me for referrals I can refer you

May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

Vegas. It is cheaper to live there and commute via airplane
Move out to the burbs-Fremont or Santa Cruz...if desperate to stay near the city, East Bay can present "affordable" options. Not an expert though since I just worked there a few months. Aside from rent, learn to eat from home...like every day
Lmk if you want to talk more (marsisbright@hotmail.com) but I'd say stay away from SF. Does she have a car? Does she have friends in the area? What would be her budget for housing?
I've lived in SF, Sunnyvale, and 2 spots in Oakland. Been around Berkeley, San Jose, Santa Cruz, etc since moving out here. I wouldn't go further than San Jose, and then only with a solid commute plan, as commuting is pretty expensive as well
What's her budget? / what's her salary? Just moved there and have a gorgeous place for around 1700 in SF so it's doable (or are you thinking of cheaper?)
Lol @d1. That's not doable. Even I don't want to do that, and can't spend that much of my income in good conscience (though I have before)
*that much on rent
$1700 isn't doable??? That's median 1BR rent in Chicago, can't imagine what closet that'd get you in SF/NYC
1700 for the whole place D1?? That'd be ridiculously low for SF. tenderloin?
And pilot, a cheap 1bd in SF is $2500. So.
Also still, 1700 isn't comfortable considering the fact that i spend more on lifestyle, and I work from home (so no per diem, etc), and taxes in CA are high as hell.
Right, which is why I was surprised when it sounded like you were complaining that $1700 was too expensive still
So someone with a much lower salary (as op stated about their sister)... I don't think it's at all doable
I mean at that point only sharing rooms is going to make it more affordable...
Or going out of the city proper, which I suggested.
Pilot I've moved 4 times in the bay. Paid 2400 (Airbnb), 650, 1828, and 850. I'm just saying, I've felt my wallet's limits, and I've found other things as well
Lived with 6 other people, then 1, then 4. I just have diverse experience with housing in the bay. If I weren't moving out of state, I would still only pay 1500 (for one room in maybe a 3bed/2bath).
Not own place, have two roommates. But really good space right by the Deloitte office
Fremont, neat the BART
Why is she taking the offer?
