Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

How do you get more dopamine?
One of my favorite podcasts did an episode on Adderall. Most of the info won’t be new, but there were some interesting snippets in there. I also thought it was a useful educational resource to share with your family and friends.

Neuro-stuff aside, your first year (or two) will be tough as a new consultant coming from industry (in my experience and from what I’ve observed with other industry hires…especially for industry hires actually). Consulting toolkit takes a long time to master so be patient, ask questions and keep working hard. I don’t know if it gets “easy” (we wouldn’t be a high churn industry and have bowls about exiting if it were), but it does get easier. Good luck OP!
OP - my story is very similar to yours… I joined as a manager a year ago.
The biggest challenge I face is that every project is different.…
My only advice to you is to try to use your ADHD/Neurodivergent way of thinking to come up with plenty of solutions that you can share. Don’t underestimate the power of the solutions you can come up with. This is the reason why I haven’t been fired yet. Usually consultants don’t think outside the box.
Then leverage other decks to familiarize your self with the convergent/neurotypical way of building storylines so you can put your thoughts together in a structured way.
Don’t get discouraged.
I need to stay a little longer here so I can leverage the experience for the next role outside consulting.
Wishing you best of luck my friend!
Give yourself tiiiiime. Do your own solution work but ask for feedback on the best path to pursue so you don't waste too much time. Find an ally who can empathize with not being a career consultant.
It's usually pretty convoluted logic based entirely on the politics of the client and very rarely on the industry standards for any given thing. These are the best questions to ask, too. Clarify who the main point of contact is, who their boss is, what they get out of it career wise, who collaborates well and less well, etc.
Wouldn't hurt to look up what you can find on each named client too. You need to know if you should be paying attention when they speak or if they're blowing smoke up yr as*, etc.
Luckily client context is something that you couldn't have learned ahead, so those questions are usually very welcome, especially for senior management who have to manage the relationship
OneNote for due outs, Trello board to project manage, open Word doc during meetings to take verbatim notes (with deliverables highlighted yellow and added to my OneNote after).
You need time to adjust but there are tools to help track everything you need to do
Verbatim notes are clutch

I have a similar experience. I joined a year ago as an experienced hire. Worked very hard on my first project but towards the end of it I got a bit overwhelmed due to the deadlines etc. got a bad performance review even though I exceeded expectations almost the entirety of the project. I took the feedback on the chin and moved on. Since then every project has been a great learning experience and I have improved immensely but agree with what everyone said above. After a year I feel like I have got the hang of it. But the bad review sticks longer than you think. Everyone remembers what you did wrong or what u didn’t do more than the numerous things you did right. My advice hang in there, find buddies you feel comfortable sharing or seek advice.
OneNote for note taking, use voice recorder on ur phone to record and replay back so that you can capture everything, show ur work and ur thinking to your peers before sending it to your PL, like that you can get a different perspective. I hope this helps
