I am Fully vaccinated but if I declare that I am partially vaccinated will they get to know my bluff? Actually I am not much interested to go back to office as of now may be in february it will be fine for me

Idk but let me know if you figure it out 😅
My therapist tries to have me get me to the root of it. I’m not good at it yet. But basically she tells me that there’s something about finishing the task that makes me scared. I’m slowly accepting the fact that I’m scared of the judgement of someone reviewing my finished product. Because perfectionism is a hallmark of ADHD. The chaos and the frantic energy get you past the fear. But when you have a minute to do it is when it takes you forever to do it.

Great point. I suspect it is the fear of failure/rejection that causes me to drag my feet on certain tasks.
Each and every person’s way of dealing with ADHD may differ, so as always take people’s comments with a grain of salt.
Having said that, I find it helpful to give myself an arbitrary hard deadline.
For example, let’s say that you need to draft a motion/document by the end of the week. In that case, you could divide it up, perhaps by sections/points, and give yourself 1-day deadline for each of those sections/points. You could set up a calendar event for each, or set a reminder with the breakdown in the calendar note/detail section.
However, if you don’t have (or don’t trust yourself) AND if you’re in an environment with ample resources (eg you have access to mentors, colleagues, PAs and paralegals who are willing to help, then you should try to tap into your resources. Ask them if they could give you the arbitrary short deadlines, or something that would give you some sense of urgency. Maybe schedule a daily status meeting to keep yourself accountable with them.
These are some things that comes to mind. Once again, your mileage will vary.
Sure. Maybe something like this? I’m envisioning an email, just so that it’s professional.
Hi [Assistant],
I hope you're doing great. I wanted to ask you if we can have a quick check-in meeting on a regular basis. This would help me stay on top of the cases we are working on so that we stay on too of the water.
The meeting would be short, like 15 minutes, and we would talk about these things:
- Any updates or issues on the current cases
- Any new or upcoming deadlines
- Any feedback or questions you have for me
I think we can do the meeting either daily or every other day (e.g, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), depending on what you prefer and when you're free. Please let me know what time works best for you, and I'll send you a calendar invite.
Thanks,
