So I signed up to go somewhere more remote with a good friend of mine and her friends for a week so we can relax while WFH in a different environment. Now she can’t go and I’m starting to dread the trip since I barely know them. There are two of them and they are besties. Any tips for surviving this getaway? I have my extreme introvert moments when I travel in a group. They wouldn’t know how to deal with it and I will be beyond stressed trying to put up a good front.

People that have small children - how do you deal with your child’s stress and separation anxiety when you go to work? My 4-year old goes berserk almost every day at some point relating to me having to work. The worst part is that I’ve been working from home bc of Covid and I’m literally just walking upstairs after giving hugs and kisses and saying see you soon 800 times. I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

I started working for a new law firm, much larger than the firm I was working for previously. The main attorney that I work under had noticed some mistakes I was making (I am a NY paralegal who took this position with the understanding that they’d be teaching me NJ and NYC real estate). I'm planning to purchase a home in the next 1-2 years as a first home buyer. My parents are currently refinancing their home and because they are close to retirement and have a smaller income, I'm planning to take out the mortgage under my name (won't be listed as the property owner).
