So Progressive Insurance I had a video interview with them. The job is for a Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster. Now they are asking for a second digital interview and I am confused because I read that the interviews were one video the other live with hiring team.

I love it here.
To be honest I hear great things about Progressive so if adjusting is what I am going to be doing they are my first choice. I do have another interview for a non adjusting job that peaks my interest. But who knows how that will go? But part of it is proximity Progressive has office in my new city other carriers don't and I see writing on the wall about remote. But still I don't think it makes sense as a process.
Old school , but they designed it and it shows the inner mindset- red flag in my book. I think they are a factory.
Yes absolutely in the corporate world you are a number for sure! However the thing is that as an insurance company it is doing well one of the few that is. And well adjustor jobs are needed because people will always get in accidents
What exactly did they say/email? I just got a generic let’s schedule an interview after the initial video one and I video chatted with someone in recruiting
Wow surprising. I just went through this in CA and didn’t have to do that step. Agree it’s a bit much.
I was going to say are you sure that it is not a video interview with someone from the hiring team? Usually they don't make you submit two of the same interview formats so I don't think they would have you do it again. Is likely an interview with an actual human.
I’m sure that your second interview is virtual/video but with decision-makers for the job. We don’t do any in person interviews anymore, not even for internal candidates, at least not in my casualty department.
I had two interviews when I applied to progressive. One was a digital interview and one was with a hiring manager. It's not bad at all, they ask you behavioral questions if course. Progressive is a good company to work for, of course it depends on the department. You will get hired, these insurance companies need experience adjusters. Even if you don't have a lot of experience, progressive and GEICO will hire you. Good luck!!
Hey I’m in the process of getting a job for this exact same role. Were you hired? How has it been for you thus far?
