Sorry if this is too serious/divisive, but what do you guys think about the whole abortion battle? In my opinion they're only doing this because the birth rate is down, which is crazy to me when there are clearly many other ways to address that than just forcing every woman in the country to adhere to your beliefs.

How much sleep are you guys getting during the week and what are some morning / night routines that have helped you be more rested?

When it comes to therapy do I look up a place online and make an appointment or do I need some sort of referral? Not sure if I need to see a therapist or physiatrist really.

I’m on the high side of the BMI scale and really want to prioritize healthy movement. Not ready to formally go back to the gym or do fitness group classes inside (both from a covid mentality and feeling uncomfortable due to size). Started walking more and incorporating some cardio videos, thinking of getting a machine for my apartment (bike, elliptical, etc.)…any recommendations of best machine to incorporate or additional fitness ideas?

Really trying not to spiral, and my practice group leader has been openly hostile to and dismissive of me lately. A company has 2 candidates, aged 25-30, equal in every respect save one’s a man the other’s a woman. Maybe the woman is a slightly better candidate overall. They’d have equal comp.

Company considers the woman a riskier bet due to possibility she’ll take maternity leave — and considers the man less risky for his ineligibility to take as much leave. 🤷
