I would recommend doing your course, then taking a prep course before the exam.
The cert programs at universities teach for knowledge while the prep courses teach for the test. With both, you'll be pretty well-rounded
I’m using dalton, from which I can choose a university to get my certificate for. Kinda weird but I guess it’s more relevant to clients than American college...for whatever that’s worth. I have a firm discount and will pay $650 per module and will be reimbursed. All in, it will cost just under 5k with my discount. Without, I was told it’s an extra 3k
God bless ya
Good luck
Stay on pace. I got behind with a different program and stopped working out, no hobbies, no new clients, and took meds to study 6-8 hours per day the last month.
I took mine through Boston University. The exams are online from my home office and I could take as many times as I wanted til I got the scores I liked. I took the exam prep through Dalton and give them a thumbs up. I passed first time.
No advice, but which program are you using and how much did you pay? Looking to do the CFP myself.
