Switching Careers again -
I got into UX Design about 3-4 years ago, and I’m just not happy in the field anymore. I’m not sure if it’s the company or work itself, but I’m exhausted, disengaged at work, and honestly burnt out. So I want to go back to what I did before which was project coordination. No one talks about the guilt or feeling of failure in these cases, and wanted to hear if anyone else did the same thing! Would love to hear your stories.

I would try a company switch before you switch careers. Look for good values in a company and a great team. This is your whole life ahead of you and you have to be happy. UX can be challenging but also fun if you start to venture out into different UX topics. I still have alot to learn and ive been in UX for over 5 yrs. Also its good pay not to mention, though find a place where you can have that zen and meet in the middle of happiness/stability. Best of luck

I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.

And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?

I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.

Thanks in advance

Additional Posts in UX & Product Design

Hey! I'm just about to start doing some freelance work for a NYC based boutique design studio, and I need to give a hiring manager my hourly rate to give his customers. I am new to UI/UX design. I have experience in graphic design, but I just completed a certificate in UI/UX design so other than school projects I don't have an extensive amount of experience. What would you suggest I should charge? I am more interested in gaining experience than needing the money, but want to be payed reasonably.
