I agree perfectly with your comment, as police officers, we started earning very little and I think that the bar should be equalized more and the payments increased for people who are just starting out, it is one more motivation to do things as they should.
Hi there, I'm Corey and I'm currently 16 years old and was hoping to

I believe that the public sector should improve salaries taking into account inflation, my brother is a firefighter and I am a police officer and we really earn very little for all the risks we take, in addition to the years of study we have.
I believe that the work of caring for and serving is something of a vocation, but not of a vocation, you form or feed a family, it is necessary for the police union to attend to this and begin to negotiate salary improvements for the police officers in all lines.
When I remember the days when I started as a patrolman, I remember that I lived in a small apartment with my wife, we could not afford to move to something bigger and much less have a child, it was not until 5 years later that we moved and had a son, that's why I agree with you if you try so hard to be a police officer you shouldn't try so hard to be a father or mother of a family.
I think that like everything in the police it should be by merit, if they should increase salaries, but not too much, every police officer who enters the force will want to be better to climb positions and improve their economic stability, all with merit.
I completely understand where you are coming from. The salaries for police officers definitely need to be improved in order to help them support their families. However, it is good to hear that you and your family are doing well!
Increasing police officer salaries would help to attract more people to the profession, which would be beneficial for everyone involved. I think about this all the time.
I am happy to hear that things are going well for you and your family! I am in the process of saving up to buy a home, so cheers to things going well for everybody!
