Vaccines will help keep you healthy. Wear masks in public/crowded spaces.
It’s rough. I feel like our kid brings a new ailment home every week.
+1 on vaccines, natural stuff is great and all but we're in an era where modern medicine is amazing and we should be taking full advantage of that
Your immune system is really dependent on your overall health, so I really wouldn’t trust anyone saying “take x milligrams of y herb” or whatever. In reality you just need to live the way humans were intended - eat a healthy balanced diet, workout, get enough sleep, wash your hands, avoid other sick people, etc.
Morning immune boosting shot: Boil fresh ginger and mix in turmeric powder, and cayenne pepper. You can add lemon or honey to it when drinking it. I make a batch on Sundays and take it daily.
I have heard of this before actually. Might be a good time to try it.
Oregano oil
I bought mine on Amazon, I put 1 to 2 drops under my tongue. It’s extremely bitter I would not recommend for food

Not to be a Debbie downer but it is impossible to avoid all viruses without being in complete isolation.
I know, I know... just trying to do everything I can to try not to get taken down by one!
Maybe just adopt a healthy ligestyle, supplement, focus on preventive care are on top of my mind
Full-on isoloation will have severe mental health consequences that will outweigh the benefits (unless there is a severe pandemic like ebola level… even covid did not justify for me and my family to stay in isolation too long.. ha but we are in florida as well ;)
I'm doing most of those things already, but I want to do everything I can to keep us healthy. What supplements do you recommend?

Gut health! So much of our immune system health is connected to gut health. Balanced diet, take probiotics, active lifestyle, get exposure to vitamin D via the sun. 8+ hours of sleep! Minimize stress.
This ^^. Everything starts with the gut!
I took elderberry for a long time and wasn’t sick for like 2 years. Then I got Covid so I gave up on it. Got Covid for a 2nd time so I’m taking elderberry again.
I took elderberry for a while too! I didn't know if it was just a placebo effect but if you weren't sick for 2 years and COVID was the only enemy to it, maybe worth trying
Have you and your family gotten vaccines or kept them up to date? It helps a lot to keep safe even from the inside.
Invest in an air purifier to help reduce airborne contaminants especially in enclosed spaces in and around your home.
I take ginger shots every morning to help wake me up and boost my immune system. The taste takes some getting used to but I like it better since it's all natural.
Start from your own health. The biggest shield that we can get to avoid the viruses and whatever diseases is to make sure that we eat right, we exercise and we take supplements for immunity. Masks and all other things can only do so much.
Hi there. I'd say vaccines, personal hygiene, and vitamins. I'm still working on my body to get used to exercising.
