I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?
Is part time work in audit ever possible?

Done it twice because I had $ in the bank. No ragrets
you should be good
I wouldn’t - just slack off a bit at work and interview aggressively.
Why not find a new job and delay the start? You will 100% be asked why you left that company
Also, part of it would be so I can focus on advancing my D&A skills like excel power query, SQL, and IDEA through online learnings. I've gotten to use some D&A skills here and there in my position but nothing very advanced and I never had time to really hone in, just become familiar and basic utilization.
I suggest sticking around. Work hard and ask for a mid year promotion. Stay motivated and show strong performance in the upcoming period.
I think you've found your answer.
Update, I was asked about compensation in an interview today and learned that $67k is reasonable. I currently make $53k, I'm definitely leaving lol
Apply externally for other firms. Many are still doing promotions and would still want experienced staff plus would hire you as a senior
