Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

That’s BS. I hate when people do this. Don’t open a role and then not take a few minutes to review the work, give feedback and make a decision either way.
I’m fully transparent with candidates because the process is stressful and while my day may be busy people want to join my team because they see something. So showing a little courtesy goes a long way.
Since you did homework that I’m assuming they asked you to do I would as respectfully ask for feedback by the end of next week since you probably spent x hours on it.
Once you ask someone to put personal time in you owe them an answer.
Sorry these situations piss me off.
They gave you a homework assignment because they weren’t sure about you based on your resume/experience. Then you did it and for whatever reason it didn’t close the deal for you. Then they were assholes and did the easy thing, which is instead of having an actual conversation with you about why it didn’t work out, they ghosted you.
You don’t want to work at a place that does that kind of bullshit
VD1 take my word and consider it a blessing in disguise
Why are you leaving Havas? Don’t you enjoy having to buy Yeezys and Supreme to be put on projects and get promoted. JK but seriously if you get out take me with you.
6 weeks of this... I would just write one last note and if they give you the run around just be done with it. If they love you, they'll contact you when they are ready.
I've never heard of this free homework business so this sounds a little...fishy (get it? Fish Bowl... fishy... it's word play 🥁).
Who knows you might have dodged a major bullet... you know what they say about grass always being greener on the other side.
Not sure if normal but it’s already done and was an opp to stand out. I’ve checked in multiple times over the weeks and every time I get the same response along the lines of “hiring manager has been super busy or OOO but trying to give feedback soon. thanks for patience, stay tuned"
This is all too ironic because Havas sucks at getting back to candidates 😂
@OP gotcha. Didn’t glean any of that information from your original post. So I’d say good luck and hope you find out one way or another soon!
Homework? This better be an elite job.
Doner is notorious for doing this to candidates. Rarely does anyone get a response.
(cont’d) bc the hiring manage has been busy. Then you see the HR person publicly post up the job they talked to you about almost 2 months ago. Is it worth waiting around for it or wishful thinking at this point despite the hard work/time you put into the hwk assignment that they seemed to appreciate?
Th-th-their poker face, th-th-their poker face.
That sounds terrible, I would just send an email to check in and if they don't respond you or send an ambiguous response... I would just cut my losses.
Also, is this normal? Giving out homework??
@72 they haven’t ghosted me because they’ve replied to all my follow ups but I haven’t heard a decision/feedback/next steps for 6 weeks and they just posted the role publicly. So is it effectively over?
@72 they also told me they gave all candidates the same assignment. So either they’re not sure with everyone who applied or it’s what they do as part of the process
Elite enough to not get back to me with any actual feedback after 6-8 weeks
