Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Congratulations! Accept this win and assess the possibility to request additional PTO once you have joined the firm. You may have greater leverage then, and it would be a more effective approach than revisiting the matter multiple times at this juncture.
Learn the lesson to include it with the counter. Especially after they accepted that, it’ll look awful to try and do something else.
I mean, I don't really think there's any harm in asking. They might say no in which case you have your answer but they might say yes. I think it's worth risking it.
I agree with ASC 1. You should have included it in your initial counter. The salami tactics won't work in this situation. You risk the offer being pulled in this market!
This is likely something that should have been included with the original ask, as others have noted - however, I'd suggest a time-bound review of your overall comp.
You could ask them to put in the agreement, something in relation to review of your total compensation within 6 months (you could make it specific to PTO, but total comp gives you more latitude if they won't budge on PTO).
If they review total comp in 6 months, but then can't move on PTO, ask for a raise and take unpaid time off - it all comes out in the wash, but at least you're protecting you interests and ability to negotiate. As well it gives you a performance temperature read 6 months into the new role.
